Welcome to E.P. Foster Elementary School, home of the Bears!

At E.P. Foster, we take pride in being a school where every child is known, valued, and supported. Our goal is to provide a learning environment where students feel safe, curious, and inspired to reach their fullest potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe that education is a partnership between school, family, and community. Together, we create a culture of kindness, inclusivity, and high expectations. From our vibrant classrooms and enriching arts programs to our focus on social-emotional learning and strong academic foundations, we are committed to helping each child discover their strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning.

E.P. Foster is also home to a team of experienced and passionate educators — many of whom are veteran teachers with years of dedication to our students and families. Their deep understanding of child development, instructional best practices, and our community’s unique culture ensures that every student receives both consistency and care in their learning journey.

At E.P. Foster, attendance matters — every day counts. Consistent attendance builds strong learning habits, helps children stay connected to their peers and teachers, and ensures they don’t miss key moments of growth and discovery. We encourage families to make school attendance a top priority and partner with us in helping students show up, engage, and thrive every single day.

Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed. With an on-site preschool (Jumpstart), a caring after-school program open until 6:00 p.m., and a wide range of enrichment opportunities, E.P. Foster truly supports the whole child from morning to evening.
