Hello families!

My name is Ms. Juarez, and I’m proud to serve as the School Counselor here at E.P. Foster. My goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and connected at school — and to help them believe they can reach their goals and have fun doing it!

As a school counselor, I support students' social, emotional, and academic growth in a variety of ways. Each month, I visit classrooms to lead engaging lessons on important topics such as emotion regulation, bullying prevention, coping skills, and much more. I also offer small group counseling and individual counseling sessions for students who may benefit from extra support, whether they're navigating grief, big emotions, anxiety,  friendship challenges, or just need someone to talk to.

To help build a strong school community, I organize spirit days and fun school-wide activities during lunch and recess to promote school connectedness and belonging. I’m also a part of our school's crisis and behavioral support team, working closely with staff to ensure a safe and positive environment for all students.
